Caroline Bouchard is a research scientist at the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources, Greenland Climate Research Centre in Nuuk. She holds a MSc in Biology and a PhD in Oceanography from Université Laval (Québec City, Canada, 2007, 2014), and also conducted postdoctoral studies at University of Iceland. Her research focuses on the effects of environmental variability on the early growth, feeding success, survival and recruitment of arctic and subarctic fish populations. She has published circumpolar syntheses on different aspects of Arctic gadids ecology, and over the years has used a range of approaches to answer her research questions, including otolith microstructure and microchemistry, population genetics and fisheries acoustics.
